If you proceed with cancellation of an Active certificate, you need to be sure that the certificate is under refund Grace Period that is 15 days after the date of Certificate issuance. Once a request for a refund and cancellation confirmation are sent to Support Team, they will be processed altogether. Refund will be sent to the Ekhteear account funds by default or transferred to the source of payment the purchase was made from.
In that case you need to contact our Live Chat Support or Submit Ticket with us and provide us with your Order ID/Cert ID (you can take the following steps to locate the Order ID:
1. Sign in to your Ekhteear account > select Dashboard or Domain List from the left-side menu > locate the domain name which is used as a common name for your certificate
2. Click on the caret to expand the list of services assigned to the domain name > find the needed certificate and select Manage next to it
3. In a new window you may find your Order ID as well as your Certificate ID) and confirmation of the cancellation that was sent to you by Certificate Authority Team via email.
If your certificate was awaiting validation and you clicked on “I do not approve” link in the confirmation email, the certificate will be cancelled at GeoTrust side. You can contact our support team to have the refund transferred to the source of payment you have used for the certificate purchase.
Please be aware that the cancellation request should be sent to Ekhteear *within 90 days from the purchase date*. If the cancellation request is submitted after the 90 days period is over, the refund will not be issued.
The certificate can be also mistakenly cancelled during the reissue process through Online User Portal, when instead of the option Reissue certificate, a button Cancel order was clicked considering it as a button for Certificate replacement. In that case a refund is applicable if conditions of the SSL Service Agreementare met. You will need to contact our Support Team to get a refund in this case.
